KENSHO
CABINS: 8 | GUESTS: 12 | CREW: 22
Kenshō is a yacht designed for those who embrace life on the water. The owner, passionate about the yachting lifestyle, has redefined conventional yacht layouts by integrating asymmetrical spaces and outdoor living areas in unexpected locations. This design allows for spectacular views of the sea and invites guests to engage with their surroundings at every opportunity. Fun and adventure await at every level, from the swim deck featuring a gym, a 6m swimming pool, and an exciting range of water toys, to the sun deck, which is equipped with a jacuzzi, various seating and lounging spots, and expansive walkways.
Inside, Kenshō boasts expansive and tranquil interiors that offer smooth transitions between open guest areas for a calming atmosphere. The interior spaces are interconnected via a central elevator and feature staircase, emphasizing the sense of space with impressive ceiling heights of 2.7 meters, large windows, and wide walkways that create an almost open-plan feel when doors are opened.
Rather than a traditional floating palace, Kenshō is designed as a serene retreat at sea, with a layout that reflects how the yacht is intended to be used. The main salon is not located on the main deck as typically expected; instead, it has an innovative arrangement of forward and aft living areas on the upper deck, providing stunning views through full-length 180° windows.
The renowned design firm Jouin Manku, known for their transformative work with some of the world’s leading hotels and restaurants, has crafted a stunning yet functional interior for this yacht. The decor features warm woods, soft lighting, and Asian-inspired elements, creating a beautifully curated space that balances intricate decoration and craftsmanship with a peaceful ambiance suitable for maritime life.
Kenshō’s six staterooms embody tranquility inspired by a Buddhist temple, decorated with warm wood paneling and authentic Asian-inspired touches, all illuminated by natural light flowing in from dawn to dusk.
The Master suite serves as an exquisite retreat, encompassing four interconnected areas: a lounge/media room with a curved sofa, a bedroom, a dressing area, and a bathroom with a central tub, influenced by Asian mythology and modern design. With loft-like volume and views on both sides through full-length windows, it offers a feeling of openness and serenity.
The yacht’s exterior living spaces are spread across four decks. Starting with the expansive swim deck featuring a 6m glass-fronted pool on the lower deck, to the magnificent indoor-outdoor sun deck topped with a unique skylight, Kenshō offers diverse areas catering to fitness, relaxation, and entertainment needs. The swim deck includes a state-of-the-art gym, a private lounging area on the bow, a sheltered dining space on the upper deck, and a fully-equipped bar on the sun deck. The sun deck, which is accessible by the elevator, is a breathtaking area with distinct forward and aft sections connected by one of the yacht's signature wide walkways. Glass windbreak doors can be adjusted to provide complete protection from the elements or to remain open for guests to enjoy the breeze and stunning views across the yacht.
