Villa Grandeur offers a unique opportunity to experience luxury, privacy, and authenticity in Santorini. Built on the site of an older “palazzo” owned by the family for centuries, this stunning residence is situated in a historic location at the highest point of Fira, the capital of Santorini, providing spectacular views of the iconic caldera and the Santorini volcano.

Architecturally, the villa embodies a distinctive neoclassical style that mirrors the original structure. Its domes, arches, thick walls, and vaulted ceilings create a captivating geometric design. The interiors are tastefully decorated, blending elegant modern elements with antique furniture from the original house, as well as a significant collection of authentic engravings and old maps depicting various aspects of Santorini. Contemporary artwork adds a vibrant touch to the decor.

Located within a short 10-minute walk from the town center, the villa sits in one of the most unspoiled parts of the old town, offering a serene atmosphere perfect for enjoying the beautiful terraces that extend into the caldera bay.

The main house features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a guest WC, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and a dining room. The master suite on the ground floor boasts a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a unique cyclical bathtub made from off-white polished cement, complemented by sky-blue plaster walls. This bedroom also features a vaulted ceiling equipped with a fan and a solar chimney for natural ventilation. The second bedroom, also on the ground floor, has a high ceiling and a queen-size bed that can be converted into twin beds, along with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The upper floor hosts a third bedroom offering uninterrupted views of the volcano, featuring a queen-size bed that can also be converted into twin beds and an A+ air conditioning system for comfort.

The kitchen features a countertop made using the same pressed cement technique as the rest of the villa. Adjoining the kitchen is an elegantly designed dining room with a stunning cross-vaulted ceiling, equipped with a wooden table and medieval Spanish-style chairs, an ornate gold-plated mirror, and an original Venetian chandelier.

The living area, also characterized by its impressive cross-vaulted ceiling, includes a marble fireplace and breathtaking views of the city, caldera bay, and the volcano. Access to the expansive terraces and outdoor dining spaces allows for the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings all day long.

The guest studio is linked to the home’s terraces and features its own private entrance, accommodating two guests in either two single beds or a double bed, arranged to meet your needs. This studio is air-conditioned and includes a small bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette.

The entire complex ensures privacy and autonomy for both the main house and the guest studio, allowing shared access through the outdoor terraces. It is perfectly suited for groups of friends (up to ten people, plus two additional guests upon request), special events such as weddings, or family reunions.

Embracing the outdoor lifestyle that Greece, particularly the Aegean Islands, promotes, Villa Grandeur offers multiple outdoor living options. Comfortable benches and sofas are arranged around wooden tables, classic “Kafeneion” chairs provide a charming morning spot, and relaxing teak loungers are perfect for leisurely afternoons. A large outdoor dining table made of polished cement accommodates up to ten guests in comfort.

Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens featuring endemic plants such as pomegranate trees, oleanders, hibiscus, and bougainvilleas, as well as aromatic herbs like basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, lavender, and mint, the villa further enhances its serene environment.

For a touch of indulgence, an outdoor jacuzzi – plunge pool (3m x 2m) is situated on the terrace, offering a perfect retreat for relaxation.

Each property is equipped with ecological COCOMAT mattresses, and depending on the room's location, features air conditioning in all bedrooms, ceiling fans, or solar chimneys (natural cooling via air flow). The indoor climate remains comfortable even without mechanical cooling systems. Natural lime paints are used throughout the villa, and all wooden doors and window frames utilize eco-friendly paints. Most floors are finished with polished cement, crafted using traditional techniques by local artisans, ensuring a blend of modern comfort and rustic charm throughout Villa Grandeur.
